The Circled Square: Buddhist Studies in Higher Education is produced at the University of Toronto’s Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation Centre for Buddhist Studies. We interview professors from academic institutions around North America, creating conversations about innovative teaching. Buddhism is now taught in many disciplines beyond religion, including anthropology, art history, and cognitive science. The series explores the diversity of approaches to teaching and learning with Buddhism taking place right now.
